Paths
What's happening?
The Community Council is working hard to make sure the Michael Bruce Way (MBW) is kept up to scratch by working with the Perth & Kinross Council and local Landowners. I'm sure many of you noticed that parts of the path became very overgrown this year. The reason is that for parts of the path there is no funding for things like, grasscutting and minor repairs - thats why the Community Council is putting in place a sponsorship scheme to enable us to keep the path up to scratch.
The long awaited path alongside the A911 between Kinnesswood and Scotlandwell has got the go-ahead and a start should be made later this year.
New Information Boards for the MBW
Are in the making and the first drafts are available for review here
MBW Sponsorship scheme
We want people in the community to sponsor the two kilometers of path that are of concern - if we could find sponsors at just 25p per metre we can keep the path clear for all!
There are three possibilities of doing this:-
- 100 metres sponsorship at £25
- 40 metres at £10
- 10 metres at £5
If you would like to be a sponsor, just leave a message on this website or phone Stuart (840825)
or Jim ( 841029).
